Valid driver’s license

You should of course be the owner of a valid driver’s license for the type of vehicle in the specific vehicle group from which you wish to rent. In addition you should minimum have had your driver’s license for 12 months.

Young Driver

Vehicle renters below 26 years of age will be charged a fee of DKK. 50 exclusive VAT per person per rental per day.(max. 250 DKK. per 30 days)  

Excess

There is an excess of DKK. 2.500 for the following age groups above 26 years of age when renting from the vehicle groups mentioned below. 

20-23 years: Group O, A, B, C, D, F, G, J9, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7.
23-26 years: Group E, H, I5, I7, I8, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12.
26-28 years: Group L, M, X.

Additional Driver

There is 1 driver (the renter) included in the price. An additional Driver costs DKK. 50 exclusive VAT per driver per rental per day.(max. DKK. 250 per 30 days). Added to this a possible fee for Young Driver will be charged. See more at "Age stipulations" above.

Reservation

You can with advantage make a reservation of your rental vehicle in advance and avoid waiting time. It is free of charge and you avoid returning empty-handed.

Driving abroad

You are welcome to use our vehicles for driving abroad. There is a fee of DKK. 15 per day (max. DKK. 150 per 30 days). When you book the vehicle, you just have to inform which countries you intend to drive into. However, it is not allowed to drive into the former East European countries and Great Britain. Besides the above-mentioned countries vans and trucks are not allowed to drive into Finland either.

Payment

The vehicle rental is settled with a credit card, unless another agreement exists, when renting a vehicle from the groups O, A, B, F and you can also choose to pay a cash deposit and make the settlement after rental termination. Regarding the vehicle groups E, H and upwards minimum 2 international credit cards are required.

Extras 

We can also help you with child safety seat, GPS and winter tires by paying a minor fee. These extras require an advance reservation. When renting a vehicle from Europcar you are not allowed to install other equipment without an acceptance from Europcar.
